 During the performance of 'Video Experiments 1' I am in a trance like state. I am reciting phrases that come into my head. Here is a transcription: "To be ill prepared to not withstand the change in climate and temperature. To underestimate your surroundings. To believe in the surroundings as an absolute. To believe in the absolute truth. To understand. To hesitate when necessary to facilitate a greater truth. To understand and connect for the sake of survival. To understand the worth of survival. To touch. To understand touch as love. To vanquish malicious intent as a greater success than intentful desire. If desire precedes action then desire is a product of existential guilt. Why not? To believe in the enemy and the existence of the enemy. To live underwater. To not censor the desire which mimics that which is underwater. In essence and in a formula for life derived by pleasure. To listen. To believe. To simplify the reality of ESP as love. To sleep. To understand a reality as defined by sleep. To have her sleep to your left or to your right. To condition. To question the references of comparison as truths of individuality. To succumb to extraneous thought as a greater division of reality. To rationalize thoughts born out of college. To alter one's outer aesthetic to match one's perceived inner aesthetic. To go there. To be there. To idealize certain things. To question the boundaries of the rate of ownership. What you control. What you do not control. What your answers to those questions reveal about your psyche. To fall asleep in front of someone's eyes. " |
